HYDRASCALE OPERATION

1.

Upon installation HYDRASCALE will immediately begin treating your water.

2.

After sixty (60) days it may be necessary to flush scale residue from screen traps, water heaters, storage tanks and piping if the system has severe scale buildup.   Scale residue is a sign that the HYDRASCALE is working.

3.

HYDRASCALE will reduce existing scale to slurry or small granules.   Once this residue has been flushed from the system scale should not recur.

4.

In the water systems with extreme scale buildup, chunks of scale can break loose from heat exchange surfaces and pipe walls.  This is proof that HYDRASCALE is working.  Chunks of scale can be flushed by removing faucet aerators and allowing water to flow.
